Healthy Holiday Eggnog Shake

If your like me then your always looking for the best ways to mix up your shakes.  If you like Eggnog then trying changing your boring vanilla protein shake into am eggnog shake to cheer you up for the holiday.

Here’s a low fat eggnog recipe for your parties this year. (see shake below)

Ingredients

1/2 cup egg substitute
2 cups skim milk
1/2 cup fat-free creamer
2 tbs sugar substitute
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp nutmeg, cinnamon, or pumpkin spice

Steps

  1. Pour ingredients into a container, mixing until thickened.
  2. Cover eggnog and allow to chill for at least 2 hours.
  3. Top each glass of eggnog with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top or add a dollop of fat-free, sugar-free whipped topping (source).

Eggnog Protein Shake.

1 serving of vanilla protein powder

4 – 6 oz of milk / soy milk/ rice milk/ or almond milk

2 table spoons of creamer

1/8 tsp of vanilla

2 tbsp of egg substitute (it been pasteurized)

1 tsp of sugar substitute

1/4 tsp of cinnamon, pumpkin spice or nutmeg

Shake and enjoy!  For a frothy treat, blend it in the blender with ice.  This high protein, low carb shake will give you that season cheer without all the fat and calories!
