This program is my way of helping spread the healing, and success of my own story. Over 15 years ago, I tipped the scales at 198 pounds. I was frustrated, sick, bloated, weak, and depressed. At that time, I was already a personal trainer. It was my second year on the job while pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. This was the peak of my weight frustrations. Gaining almost 30 pounds in less than 6 months. I was working out 6 days a week, logging my food, and watching my fat intake. However, the scale continued to go up. On the advice of my manager I took a test and found that I had Hashimoto’s and I was allergic to gluten. Hashimoto’s is an immune disorder that affects the body by attacking the thyroid cells. This began my long journey of learning. I have since dropped over * 50 pounds and gained a lot of knowledge through my career as a personal trainer and health mentor.
I have trained hundreds of clients logging over 20,000 training hours. I’ve analyzed and recorded which foods work best, in which amounts and with the least amount of damage to the body (yes food can be your enemy). While you may not have either condition, this meal plan is one that I believe can heal and benefit everyone, no matter what your genetic make up is. I’ve chosen foods that

This isn’t your average meal plan
As a trainer I was taught low fat diets worked the best. Brown rice was a staple, and beans were your friend. Whey protein shakes were the best for you, and yogurt was an amazing snack. While I am not against those foods, you won’t see them in huge amounts in this plan.
Fat isn’t the enemy – bad fat is….
Fat has been the bad guy for years, however eating the right fat is actually the best way for you to lose weight, balance your body and stay full! You will see many healthy fats throughout this program. Don’t be afraid of them, just trust the process and you will see the inches slide off.
The real enemy is bad carbs
Your body DOES need carbs. However, eating the right kinds of fats with moderate amounts of quality carbohydrates is the way you will lose the best.

Dairy isn’t in this plan
My clients can tell you that I am NOT a fan of dairy for many reasons. Regardless if you are allergic or not. However, I will still give you the option to eat it – I just don’t recommend it.
