Although BMI can help people gauge their fitness; you must remember that it doesn’t take into account muscle mass. So, if you are thin but weigh a lot due muscle, then BMI will tell you that you are over weight. If you can, use body fat, and circumference measurements as a way to judge your overall fitness.
