Yes, Oprah is just like us!
She eats Chia!
Ok, let me specify.
Oprah likes to bake with Chia. Her delicious Pumpkin Chia Muffins to be exact.
You’re probably like, “Bianca, you seem a little too excited about Chia, they’re old news!”
Well, I have news for you! Chia seeds are hot!
I went to the Natural Food Expo West this past Friday on trade day because, you know, I’m a fancy writer for FitTipDaily.com, duh! Being “Press” made me feel like I was kind of, sort of, in House of Cards. Kind of.
I digress.
My point of writing about Chia is because almost everyone I came in contact with on the snack front had Chia seed, in their recipe.
Can I just say I LOVE SNACKS!!!
A lot.
And it seems like everyone with a snack bar, or snack chip, or just plain snack had Chia in it!
My fav snack I came in contact at the Natural Food Expo West was:

First: Chia Charger
I got to try the exclusive chocolate chip peanut butter because, you know, I’m “Press”!
It was so delicious!
Only 8 grams of fat and 5 grams of sugar!!!
Also, those fats are omega 3 fats so they’re so good for you.
The appearance may need work.
We’re not all perfect. They don’t look great, but they are dense and last a couple of bites, and they’re delish!

Disclaimer: I love coconut, so if you don’t you won’t like these.
They were so soft, like a cookie, but bigger and they were the perfect amount of chocolate and coconut!
Why do these get the FitTipDaily approval?
Because:
1. They’re sweetened with coconut sugar which is not as high glycemic as regular sugar.
2. They’re Glute Free.
I have been doing Gluten Free as much as possible and I hardly do ab exercises and I have a 4 pack.
Seriously, no gluten equals less tummy fat!
