Most people assume that those who are thin are automatically healthy. However, in the gym setting we know this to be false. Size is a matter of calorie intake. If you are a small person this don’t guarantee that you are healthy. Someone who intakes 1,500 calories but a thrid of those calries comes from fat can be just as unhealthy as an obese person that eats 3,000 calories. View this photo below. Heart disease is caused from many things. Some of the main contributors are alcohol consumption, smoking, high blood pressure, diet and lack of cardivascular training. Plaque build up in the heart due to high cholesterol can also cause an unhealthy heart. Since, many people are visual, it’s important to give ALL our readers a true picture of what an unhealthy lifestyle can and will do to your body.
Since the heart is the primary muscle that circulates blood, oxygen, nutrients and many other things; it is important to keep this muscle strong through cardio exercise. Without exercise this large muscle shrinks in size. This leads to poor circulation, decreased, energy, and oxygen.
As we mentioned above, even a small person can suffer from heart disease. Make sure that you are evaluating your health from all prespectives. Size is just ONE of the aspects of being healthy! Get your daily intake of healthy fats. Keep your saturated fats low, exercise, and avoid unhealthy habits.
