That is a true statement, but doing squats also build your quad area, AKA your thighs AND what if you’re like me and you DON’T want your thighs to grow?!
Well, let’s start by eliminating squats.
Yup.
So long Squats!
FitTip Fact #1: To not make your thighs grow, avoid exercises that highly activate the quads and hammies.
To elaborate a bit, f you squats AND lunges and are gaining strength in these areas then your quads and hammies are going to continue to grow.
Did you see the L word up in there?
I know, NO Lunges either.
So you’re probably freaking out right now and thinking,
“Bianca, I’m going to have the flattest butt known to man!”
Not true.
There’s other exercises out there and I’m about to bestow a couple on you!

American Dead Lift- Don’t go too low on these!

Barbell Glute Bridge- These leave out a lot of the quad activity with barbell hip thruts.
