We’ve all had this problem, we’ve been washing our white T-shirts for the gym but they JUST WON’T GET WHITER. I’ve bleached, I’ve used oxy clean, I’ve soaked them over night. However, nothing seems to bring the white back to things that have been washed multiple times. I’ve found the solution for Dingy Gym T-shirts (and other white clothes and fabrics)! It’s a combination of cleaners that works wonders! Don’t give clothes to goodwill that you could still be using or bedding that’s lost it’s luster, use this recipe to Get your whites whiter.
*VERY IMPORTANT – Please see note at the bottom of the article if you’ve use “OxyClean on your whites in the past”
Miracle Recipe For Getting Your Whites Whiter
-
HOT HOT HOT Water – you can boil extra water on the stove to make even hotter.
-
1 cup of laundry detergent
-
1 cup powdered dish washer detergent
-
1 cup bleach
-
1/2 cup borax
* Keep in mind that you want this in a concentrated batch so don’t overfill the washer. The more water you have in the tub the less concentrated your mixture will be. Have the water just barely cover you batch of laundry.

Got Dingy Pillows?? Time To Bring The Whit Back!!
The main product that most households are missing is borax! This was extremely hard to find but I finally located it at Target near the laundry detergent on the VERY BOTTOM ROW.

CLEANERS NOTE: If you have ever used oxyclean products on fabrics, then you use a bleach product after, it will change the color of white to a dingy white. Never combine the two. If you love oxy clean products, you will have to omit bleach from your routine.
