You’re probably a little confused by the picture above, BUT did you know that Candida is actually a naturally occurring yeast in our bodies? Yup, it’s when Candida builds up over time in our bodies that it starts to literally attack us, by taking over healthy microorganisms.
Do you have Candida?
FitTip Fact #1: Everyone has slight Candida in their bodies, because it’s a naturally occurring yeast, remember?!
BUT, you may have yeast overload if you:
1. Eat a lot of refined sugars.
2. Have taken a lot of antibiotics.
I myself, have a bit of a sweet tooth.
So much so that I don’t have any sugar in my house, so when I go to birthdays, like the one I went to last night, I EAT CAKE!!! A lot of it. Moderation is key…I celebrated a birthday Monday too.
Eeekkkk!
Any who, my new nutritional doctor noticed some high levels of Candida in my blood so she started to get to the bottom of things.
I had a couple of the symptoms of Candida.
Symptom #1: Craving sugar.
I crave sugar at times, and I partially blame my Four Hour Body Diet, of no fruit whatsoever.(I now have blueberries, or strawberries with my protein shake in the am and I don’t crave sugar as bad.)
Symptom #2: Lethargy.
I have a lot of energy for someone that doesn’t drink coffee much, but I should have more energy! I’m active, I eat pretty well, it seems like I had Candida on the brain, which leads me to:
Symptom #3: Foggy Brain.
Sometimes I lack clarity, not that I’m walking around like a zombie, but I’ll lose focus. This is linked to Candida, but more importantly bowl toxicity.
Okay, this is getting in the TMI zone, but I just want to say that abdominal bloating is NEVER cute. Especially when you’re wearing tight leather pants on a date, with a hot specimen.
I digress.
Look, take baby steps towards being Candida free. Start going Gluten Free. Miley does.
Look at her stomach! Miley Cyrus is Candida free, for sure!
