We all know that fast food is the devil. By now, you might have even reduced your intake or changed from fast food to more expensive sit down restaurants. While things have slowly started to change, America is still “splurging” on fast food as a “treat” once in a while. If this is your version of a “treat” then you might start reconsidering your options IMMEDIATELY. The bottom line is that McDonald’s Fries and the processing that they contain are so far from natural that consuming them should be against FDA standards. WATCH this video and soak it all in. Then, pass it along!
If You’re in a Hurry, rush to 3:10 in this video to watch the message about McDonald’s Fries.
Renowned activist and author Michael Pollan argues that cooking is one of the simplest and most important steps people can take to improve their family’s health, build communities, fix our broken food system, and break our growing dependence on corporations.
For all the years that we occasionally had some fast food (some more then others), I was sick after watching this message. We all knew they were bad but this brings a whole new level to “bad.” Off gassing our food before we can actually cook and consume it!? If that wasn’t bad enough, the addictive that go into these “natural” fries has a new twist verses other countries. At some point, America got the short end of the stick in health. Just look at these stats ….
Here is the breakdown for you:
- More than two thirds of United States citizens are overweight – 33% being obese.
- 32% of children are either obese or overweight.
- 43% of Americans are projected to be obese in 10 years.
- After smoking, obesity is America’s biggest cause of premature death and is linked to 70% of heart disease and 80% of diabetes cases.
- And 41% of Americans are projected to get cancer in their lifetime!
These reports and statistics scream the word HELP!
Here’s a comparative break down on why America seems to be getting sicker in comparison to other countries. The addictive in the McDonald’s fries even differs !!
If you’re a pinned on pinterest then make sure you pin it. If you’re on Facebook or twitter then share it with your followers. This video could really change America’s perception of what they are consuming through fast food!
