I’ll have to admit, when I tried this the first time I was skeptical. How could an oil that’s applied on the outside of you body help you internally? Within days I was convinced. Not only did it work on my sore muscles, magnesium oil also seemed to sink right in and relieve my cramps! Here are some of the benefits and fitness tips you should know about this mineral oil.
Benefits of Magnesium Oil – The Natural Healer
- Magnesium oil is widely used in massage oils and in health spas. You can rub it directly on skin or add it to your bath water.
- Magnesium oil helps various symptoms such as muscle soreness, cramps, migraines, arthritis, joint pain and fibromyalgia.
Magnesium oil intake is therefore essential because it reduces muscle pain and hence heart health, something that was confirmed in a 2006 study by the Journal of Periodontology.
This study also confirmed the long held believe that people with enough magnesium in their body live longer than those lacking the same (source).
How to use Magnesium Oil
If you’ve had a rough workout, or you just have stiff painful joints and tendons, use magnesium oil to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and aid in recovery. You will notice that magnesium oil may sting for a bit and it may even turn red. This is normal. Apply it directly to skin and avoid contact with your eyes and mucus membranes. I use the magnesium oil that comes in a spray bottle. However, there are also bath salts, and gels. It can be found in many health food stores such as Sprouts and Wholefoods.
* I spray it on my hands then rub it directly onto the affected area. Massage the oil deep into the muscle tissue or area that you wish to apply it. It may be a little sticky so i apply it at night then put clothes of pajamas on to cover the oil. In the morning I feel rejuvenated and of course, less inflamed.
Magnesium Oil Therapy – Breakthrough Muscle Recovery
While I tell all my clients that they should take this supplement in pill form (using my favorite band by Jigsaw). I also recommend the oil for occasional application when muscles are tight, or fatigued. You can also use it for joint pain.
Sports physicians can prevent injuries, treat them and enhance athlete’s performance all at the same time using magnesium oil.
Magnesium oil can be used to increase athletic injuries’ recovery, or activities like cramps and many more.
It controls and reduces inflammation while giving quicker new tissues and magnesium chloride also helps in flexibility which aids in preventing injury.
Magnesium is also a key factor in absorbing calcium. It makes your teeth and your bones stronger, which helps to prevent injuries such as fractures and broken bones. For the older client it aids in the prevention of osteoporosis. Some also use it to brush their teeth, they report stronger, whiter teeth. Keep in mind that it doesn’t taste good at all! So, if you want to try this, keep that in mind!
Testimonials From People Using Magnesium
“I’ve been brushing [my teeth] with magnesium oil every day for the past few months. I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago and there was almost no scraping, no cavities, and no bleeding! The no bleeding is big because I have ALWAYS been a big bleeder when the hygienist does her thing. I’ve just always been prone to that. But not anymore! I wanted to do the happy dance right there in the chair!”

“As an athlete, I start using the product daily on the body parts that I had worked that day and was amazed at the difference it made in recovery time, sleep and injuries. I start turning other athletes onto the product and they all were very impressed at the difference that it made. Athletes are the best ‘test dummies’ for any product. If it works for an athlete, it will work for the average person. I personally feel that magnesium is one of the most important supplement that we could take, however, from my experience very few assimilate it well through the intestinal tract. Topical Magnesium Oil is the best way to deliver this mineral into the system. I highly recommend the product to the 90% of the population that is magnesium deficient.”

Mag Oil is a fabulous deodorant! I accidentally found this out. I was reading that if you put MO on your pulse points, it enters your system easier if you can’t take a full bath, just shower. Well, I put the MO on under my arms, not sure if this is a pulse point, but forgot the deodorant. I found out it really is a replacement. I am hereby virtually free of all chemicals (except chlorine) since leaving out deodorant and replacing it with MO!
I read the books about transdermal magnesium, and I became convinced that we are all deficient in magnesium and that the best way to get it to the cells is through the skin. I scoured the Internet, and you have the highest quality, the best prices, and the fastest service. I have now reordered several times and even bought some and had you ship it to a friend. You have never disappointed me. But the best thing is that magnesium is keeping my arthritis in check. Both hands were stiff and painful and now, and since about two months of transdermal magnesium, I am fine, fine, fine! I can still type my 115 WPM and there is no pain playing the piano. Thank you for a great product!

As you can see, the reviews on magnesium oil are outstanding. Magnesium has been a wonder pill and oil for many of my clients. Here’s our previous article on why everyone should also be taking magnesium internally. The oil makes for a great joint, muscle, and tendon aid. If you know someone who could benefit from this article. Pass it on and share the love and the healing.
