How to Store Your Tomatoes
Never store your tomatoes in a plastic bag!! The trapped ethylene will make them ripen faster. Unripe tomatoes should be stored upside down (or stem side down). In a paper bag or in a cardboard box until they are ripe.
Ripe tomatoes should be stored at room temperature, stem side up, not touching each other, and away from light.
Overly ripe tomatoes should be stored in the fridge.
