3 Questions For Weight Loss – Ask So You Can Lose, From Oprah’s Trainer Bob Greene

Oprah’s had her ups and downs with weight loss and weight gain.  Through it all, Bob Greene has been her loyal trainer guiding her and encouraging her through challenges.  One of Oprah’s most recent episodes “100 of her most loyal viewers who lost more than 100 pounds each,”  they became their own weight loss success stories.

With obesity there is usually an underlying issue.  Many of these people aren’t just eating because they can’t control their hunger.  Good trainers understand the mental aspect of weight loss and weight gain.  Severe weight gain can be accompanied by deep rooted issues from the past or thoughts  manifesting in your present life.  If you identify the source and find a way to control your reactions and thought patterns, you can begin to heal from the inside out.

Lose More Than Fat: Answer These Three Questions

Oprah’s trainer, Bob Greene also discussed some great points to consider as you focus on your own weight loss success story. Please take a moment to ask yourself the following questions:

1. Why Are You Overweight?

Bob says, “The real answer to this question is not simply: I like food—it goes much deeper. The answer is different for everyone. Get in touch with that.”

2. Why Do You Want To Lose Weight?

The answer to this question will help you determine if you’re beginning your weight loss journey with the right mindset. Bob says. “The best answer to this question is, ‘I want a better life for myself.’”

3. Why Haven’t Your Past Weight-Loss Attempts Been Successful?

According to Bob, “It’s about identifying what is going to trip you up, because the same things will trip you up if you haven’t resolved the heart of the issue”.

Answer these questions HONESTLY!  If you are honest with yourself then you can begin to solve the problem, find a solution, and become your own success story!
