Adele’s most recent surgery on her vocal cords has sparked a a healthy change. She has traded in the nicotine for pilates and her already alluring personality has taken on an even more energetic vibe. Her goal is to drop 2 dress sizes by summer. She is working hard with an “in home trainer,” twice a week.
Sources say , “Adele has found so much more energy now she’s quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she’s half-way there.
“She had always been curious about taking up Pilates but until recently there just hadn’t been any time.”
While Adele has always been proud of her curves and voluptuous figure, she says she doesn’t want to give female fans the wrong impression. In the past, she has made it very clear that you don’t have to be “stick thin,” to feel good about yourself.
“In an interview earlier this year, she said: “I’ve never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like, ‘I need to look like that to be a success.’ I don’t want to be some skinny mini with my t*ts out (source).”
Just last month designer, Karl Lagerfeld accused Adele of being “a little too fat.”
Since the 23 year old star is such a role model to women I think that this is a great change regardless. Powerful women like Adele deserve to have a healthy body to go along their empowering messages.
