Low Carb Recipe Monday – Shake and Lose Almond Chicken

This almond chicken recipe is ready in a snap!   I’ve renamed it shake and lose (instead of shake and bake).   It’s one of our favorite recipes AND it’s one that’s featured in our new Body Burn 28 day Quick Start launching this Friday, January 9th!   In this quick start, I’ll supply you with 3 options for lunch, dinner, and breakfast each week.   Everything is laid out for you such as, shopping lists, recipes, workout routines, snacks and calories.   No more logging your food or spending hours at the grocery store!

I hope you enjoy this quick, easy, and delicious recipe for almond chicken as a free preview to the up and coming Body Burn program.

Makes 2 Servings 

Ingredients for Almond Chicken

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

*feel free to add any additional spices.   If you like things spicy, you may want to add in chili to your recipe as well.

Directions 

  1. To get started, turn your oven on to 375 degrees.
  2. Next, mix all of your spices with your almond meal in a ziplock bag.  Place each chicken breast in the bag, one at a time.  Seal the bag, shake, and remove.   Place chicken breast in a pyrex dish, then place in the oven.
  3. Allow chicken to bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees.

This chicken goes well with salads, as a main course, and as a a simple appetizer.  Print it, share it, and post it if you love it!
