I AM!!! Well, I will. I’m not today, because this is day 1 of my “no carbs only 2 days a week” diet.
That’s right. I’m cutting carbs, but only 2 days in the week and I will be looking more svelte and I can basically go cray on Thanksgiving without being upset mentally and stomach wise the next day. Yay!
Thanksgiving is a week away and I’m already looking forward to ALL of the carbs I will be consuming. I will make it a point to consume a little piece of every single carb that’s presented to me that day, trust. AND I probably won’t gain a pound because according to my new “no carbs only 2 days a week” diet I will eat sensibly that day because I’m not depriving my body from carbs for 6 days a week like(cough, cough) the 4 hour body. So I won’t want to eat a carb house, when I’m eating carbs, whoop!
I know, I was so excited to know that I will consuming carbs frequently in my “no carbs only 2 days a week” diet.
Now. As you can tell I was a little late to post today. That’s because today was my first official “no carbs” on my “no carbs only 2 days a week” diet. When you do no carbs after eating carbs heavily, (It was my birthday party on Monday, don’t you dare judge me, xo!) and then go cold turkey it’s hard. Pun intended, for Thanksgving.
Okay I’m going to take it back a notch, what is my “No Carbs Only 2 Days A Week” Diet anyways?!
It’s just that. BUT on the days you’re not consuming carbs you eat kind of like the Four Hour Body, except you can eat cheese as long as it doesn’t have carbs in it.
So basically your body starts to burn fat differently and the fat is shed!
British researchers found that women who essentially gave up carbs for two days and ate normally the rest of the time dropped about 9 pounds on average, as compared to the 5 pounds lost by women who cut back to around 1,500 calories every day, according to a report presented at the CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
Um, I just quoted a study! #boom
Disclaimer:
Day 1 has not been super easy, but I plan on having carbs tomorrow and then none Saturday and I will be on my way to losing and having a Happy Thanksgiving!
Want to try it with me?!
