Are You Ready For The Squat Challenge?!

The internet has been buzzing since mid April with this 30 Day Squat Challenge.  I love a challenge and I LOVE squats because let’s be honest, everyone’s butt can use a lift.

Confession, I got wind of this 30 Day Squat Challenge from Khloe Kardashain.  I’m not a huge Kardashian fan because like Mario Lopez, I’m tired of seeing their faces everywhere.  Khloe is the better Kardashian of all the Kardashian’s, in my opinion, with her crude and brash humor, so I’m going to get on the bandwagon of this trend even though a Kardashian started it on twitter.

People on twitter went cray when Khloe tweeted this, she got retweeted almost 2,000 times and favorited OVER 2,000.

Now, did you know that squats help you build muscle or lose weight because they make you work out all your body?! It’s true! Of course since they’re so great, they’re also so hard to do properly.

How do you do squats correctly you ask, here’s how:

Fit Tip #1- Squat until your legs are parallel with the ground. Go down, way down, you’ll feel it in every muscle in your legs.

Fit Tip #2-Try not to extend your knees past your toes. That means butt out, lean back-ish.

Fit Tip #3-Don’t arch your back. You’re not doing sexy squats. Actually don’t ever try to do sexy anything, that’s a life lesson. Being sexy is usually unintentional.

Fit Tip #4-Stand with your feet slightly wider than hip width-apart and point your toes slightly inward.

Now you’re set!

    Just wondering if they have to be done at once or can you do the said amount for the day throughout the day? Time would be my problem for the longer "workout".

    Julie, I think it's more about doing them! So spread them out if you need to :)
