Eating food that’s in season can significantly lower your grocery bill and give you better, more flavorful food for your money.  Here’s a break down of the months to come for what’s in season. Use this fitness tip to plan your meals accordingly ; )

Besides  being economical, eating the seasons is a way to give back with little to no effort.  Eating seasonal foods can…

  • Reduces emissions – eating seasonal foods cuts back on the transportation of food since they can be grown locally.
  • Avoid high process on foods that have to be flown in or transported
  • Support your local community
  • Seasonal foods are fresher and tend to taste better and be more nutritious
