Fitness Tip – Pay Attention To Expiration Dates

As with many things on the shelves, vitamins also have expiration dates.  These dates insure that the vitamins you are taking have the correct potency to aid your body in health and well being.  Many people either don’t pay attention or aren’t concerned with expirations.  However, over time, the product degrades in heat, direct sunlight, moisture and oxygen.  If you are taking time out of your day to remember to take your supplements then it’s just as important to read the labels and know when the product isn’t worth taking anymore.

Good companies will slightly over fill their vitamins  to compensate for any loss of potency.  The general public views vitamins as somewhat of a mirage.  They think that people should be able to get enough from the foods they are eating.  WRONG!  The world today is packed full of fast food, over processing, and over cooking.  You also need to pay attention to bottles.  Reputable companies will  try to safe guard their products with either tinted bottles or bottles that don’t allow sunlight in.

It’s important for your body to get the vitamins, minerals, and omega fats that it needs.  This will keep you healthy, ensure lower body fat, and safe guard you against diseases and conditions associates with deficiencies.  Make conses choices and consume things that will make a difference day in and day out.
