GMaps Pedometer

      Not everyone can get into the gym everyday.  Some people hate the gym and would rather be outside with the birds and the bees.  Now GMaps has actually Incorporated a system that will count your steps for you!  Just plot your starting point and  your ending point, along with your weight.  GMaps will tell you the total distance (including round trip) and how many calories you will burn.

     This is a fun, cool way to get in shape and motivate yourself.  You can even use this tool to inspire you to keep moving during the day!  Take your lunch break to burn more calories and lose some extra weight for summer.

I am the author of this web page and I have been a personal trainer for over 13 years. I currently hold a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (exercise science), as well as all of the certifications from National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also have a background in sports training as well as internships in physical therapy and Occupational Therapy.
