When you think of Heidi Klum; you think model, wife to Seal, “Project Runway,” and Victoria Secret. All of these ventures are both stressful and demanding. Yet, Heidi always seems to be in the best of shape. So what is Heidi’s secret?
Heidi Klum’s secret to staying slim is dieting slowly.
The Project Runway host – who is married to singer Seal – says she has to watch what she eats and make sure she doesn’t start crash dieting.
Klum explains, “I think if you have a very healthy lifestyle, and you’re always working and you always eat healthy it kind of works. If you keep it going it always works.
“The secret is not to crash diet. Just do it slowly. The weight will go eventually if you are healthy.”
Heidi, 35, recently insisted that being naked in front of her family is “not a big deal”.
She said, “To see me in wings is nothing too unusual. People are pretty open with their bodies in Germany and the children see you naked or in lingerie all the time so it’s not a big deal for us.
“We don’t hide inside a room somewhere and change – it’s all very out in the open (source).”
This is probably some of the best information given by a celebrity. Losing slowly, may seem like a painful process, but it’s the best way! Losing weight fast can cause you to “yo-yo diet.” This kind of dieting can actually cause you to lose weight and then gain more weight back. Years of “yo-yo” dieting can cause a steady and progressive weight gain that can cause increased frustration. Losing weight slow and steady is the only way you will have lasting results.
