Who feels a little less than fit!?
I can barely say that word. The F word is not in my vocabulary after eating every carb, cookie, and candy.
Letters that start with a C are evil. Evil I say!
Okay I’m done with wallowing in my food remorse.
I started my day with a little run and I juiced so take that Christmas!
Now, let’s get really serious.
You and I(yes I’m including you to make myself feel better) ate a lot of dairy, sugar and drank a little too much alcohol, but that’s okay because we’re going to cleanse our bodies starting today!
Yay! Happy Boxing Day to us!
How do we cleanse you ask?! By putting food in our body that cleanses. Duh.
Here are my Top 3 cleansing foods, to target the top 3 bad things I consumed the last 2 days:
FitTip Food #1: BEETS!
Beets cleanse the liver, they’re also have fiber. Beets cleanse the liver due to the presence of betaine, which aids in the liver’s conversion responsibility. They also increase the body’s production of bile (via the gall bladder), which will help push stuff out.
PUSH “stuff” OUT!
FitTip Food #2:GINGER!
Ginger is a powerful antibacterial and can aid in the liver’s elimination of harmful bacterias.
So add a little ginger to your beet juicing and you’re set.
OR do my favorite Ginger tea!
Bianca’s Fav Ginger Tea:
Needed: 1 organic ginger stem
What to do: Rinse the outside, cut/peel the outside skin, dice the ginger(smallish cubes), add to a pot, add water(about a cup and a half), bring to a boil, turn off heat, let it sit for 5 minutes and then strain ginger. ENJOY!
This is a nose opener, but more importantly a cleanser!
Last, but not least:
FitTip Food #3:BERRIES!
Berries contain high levels of phytonutrients(antioxidants), which stimulate detoxifying enzymes. “Berries” include: Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, goji berries, and any other berries that you enjoy!
Are you so excited to cleanse?
Part of detoxifying is staying positive, no joke!
Positivity Flow,
Bianca
