How “The Good Wife,” Stays Fit

I’m obsessed with the show “The Good Wife.”  The story holds my attention (even with my busy body mentality), and the characters are always sleek and stylish.  The lead, Julianna Margulies, seems flawless and untouched by time.  So, we dug deep to find out her fitness secrets.

While Julianna claims she doesn’t have a personal trainer, she does tell Us Weekly that she swears by pilates (as many actresses do).  She also gives credit to her “good genes,” and her 9 month old son for keeping her in tip top shape.

“He’s great. That’s a workout! He’s 22 pounds — a lot of lifting (source).”

Julianna also recently signed to be a spokesmodle for L’Oreal RevitaLift products.  She will be appearing in ads starting in 2011.

I remember the first time I heard “Because You’re Worth It”. I was young, and I said to myself, when I have money, I will buy beautiful products and feel I’m worth it (source).

While the web is somewhat void of Julianna’s slimming secrets, it is evident that she has stayed trim over the years.  Our guess is that she practices portion control, eats a high protein/ high fiber diet, and does low intensity workouts on a very regular basis to keep her weight down.  If you haven’t watched her new show, it’s worth an hour out of your week!
