Crunch gyms always have the upper hand when it comes to the future of fitness. From their anti – gravity yoga class to their TRX suspension training classes; they are always up to date on the newest equipments and fads. Now, they have introduced a new interactive cycling class called Redline Ride (no not the pills or drinks).
Here’s how it works….. each person puts on a heart rate monitor with an assigned name. As you cycle all names appear on a large monitor in the front of the class. Your heart rate is also show on the screen. You are competing with others in the classes for the highest heart rate.
Redline Ride This Ride class incorporates the SUUNTO heart rate telemetry system, a system that allows you to monitor your heart rate in real-time. Anonymously track your progress on a plasma screen TV inside of the studio; your instructor will push you into “the red” for an extremely challenging cardio workout. After class, all participants will receive a report via email graphing their heart rate and summarizing total calories burned.

I can see how a class like this could motivate you to workout! If you have a competitive nature then it’s even more fun. Overall, Crunch gyms have found a brilliant way to mix exercise with video games. For more information visit Crunch Fitness.com
