This video of Jillian may come as shock to some. However, we love the Biggest Loser not because it’s mooshy, we adore it because it gives us hope and shows us the reality of weight loss. We love Jillian even more because she is a real person that knows what it takes to lose weight and what a mental struggle it is for the truly obese.
Are we really surprisedthat Jillian thinks this way??? NO. Do we see her side of the story … YES. Jillian is tough, not because she wants to be (that’s actually harder then being nice); she’s tough because she has to be so contestants take her seriously and don’t give her any push back. Being a trainer is hard work. It’s not only taxing on your body, it can be taxing mentally (like most jobs). We love what we do, we adore our clients, and we live to see them succeed. That is what being a trainer is all about. It’s not uncommon to deal with clients that have a “mental block.” Underlying issues of weight are almost always based on thought patterns. If you can change the pattern of thought that drives you to eat and live on the couch, then you have the ability to change your life and your future.
SO, what can we derive from all of this??? If you are the person that eats for all the wrong reasons, or can’t seem to get to the root of your weight issues, then it’s time to dig deep. We see Jillian do this all the time on the show. She’s not doing it to add a touching moment to the show… she’s really doing it to break down the walls that keep people trapped in a body that they don’t like and don’t know. Find the issues that hold you back and address them day after day. Soon, you will be on your path to recovery and opening doors to a new future.
