Sarah Jessica Parker’s Diet Secrets

      Who doesn’t love Sarah Jessica Parker?  Every woman wants her closet full of stylish clothes and a thin figure.  So, how does she do it while filming movies and balancing a family???  Sources say that Sarah is a BIG fan of the “Zone” diet!  Here are some of her other diet tips…..

1.) NEVER go out on an Empty Stomach.   Try to eat something healthy and filling before you go out.  This helps you to avoid those bread filled baskets at dinner. 

2.)  Get Your Protein.  Fill up on proteins first.  Then eat your veggies, and lastly your carbs.

3.)  Portions, portions, portions!!!  A serving size of meat is roughly the size of a deck of cards and the same thickness.  One serving of carbs is the size of your fist.  Save the extras for another meal.

4.)  Think GREEN.  The “Jolly Green Gaint” had it right…. eat your veggies!  Fill up on Salads and steamed veggies when you go out.  Stear clear of heavy dressings and order them on the side.

5.)  Ditch Extra Carbs.  If you want to have a glass of wine or a SMALL dessert, then get rid of the extra carbs in your meal.  Replace the carbs in your meal with EXTRA veggies. 

    

     If you can’t seem to get any exercise in that day then you MUST be on top of your food intake.  Eating the right ratio of protein is crucial to keeping your muscle as you age.  Carbs don’t have to be eliminated they just have to be consumed correctly.  You don’t have to be in the movies to look like you belong on the hollywood screens.
