The Go Anywhere Workout – Resistance Bands

These crazy little tubes vary in color and resistance.  They may look like a simple piece of equipment but they pack a punch and can be toted anywhere!  Whether you are on a hike, or across the world elastic exercise bands can help you burn calories anytime, anywhere.  Fit Tip has put together some of the most challenging exercises to keep you in shape while your out and about.

If You’re Buying Resistance Bands Each Color Represents A Different Weight.

Yellow (easy)
Red (medium)
Green (heavy)
Blue (extra heavy)
Black (special heavy)
Silver (super heavy)

 

     If you want to increase the intensity of these exercises, simply change the color of the band.  If you have limited supplies, put all of these exercises back to back without a rest period between them.  This would be consisted a resistance band circuit.  Once you have finished a set of each, rest for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Repeat the circuit 3 – 4 more times.  It will get your blood pumping and your metabolism soaring!
