Before I used the perfect pull-up I was using a standard door pull-up bar. Don’t get me wrong, doing a standard pull-up is very tough. However, using the perfect pull-up with the rotating handles DOES make a difference! If you combine the 3 exercises in the routine it kicks your butt! To get an even better workout; I combine the 3 exercises to make a circuit. I do this by performing each exercise; one right after the other (doing as many as I can), then resting at the end of the round. I have seen some great results in a very short amount of time!
I also have the hanging ab straps that go with the perfect pull-up. At first, I didn’t think they were doing anything different then my normal ab routine. However, after about 2 weeks of doing 3 different ab exercise in a circuit; I started to see things in my abs that I had never seen before! My lower abs have become more defined and I feel as though the ab straps have increased my strength dramatically.
Note: The ab straps take some getting used to. In the beginning your arms might get a little tired from holding all your body weight. Just keep working with them and your arms will get used to the exercise.
If you have been “on the fence” about purchasing the Perfect-pull up then I would urge you to get it and USE IT! The ab straps are worth the money if you are dedicated to using them 1-2 times per week.
