Gwyneth Paltrow is having a rough week due to her recent separation from Coldplay front man Chris Martin, so I thought I’d praise her a bit today.
Gwyneth you’re beautiful AND smart! Twerk!
But seriously she is!
Gwyneth is all about detoxing one of the most vital organs the liver so today we salute her!
Now Gwyneth Paltrow is loaded so she has a “detox specialist” thankfully she shares with us his secrets!
FitTip/Gwyneth Paltrow Tip #1: An Olive Oil rich diet helps decrease your chances of a fatty liver.
So try eating a primarily Mediterranean diet which is derived from monounsaturated fatty acids, mainly from olive oil.
Gwyneth suggests:
Take a couple of spoonfuls of extra virgin olive oil at night to help stimulate your liver to eliminate bile and keep its circulation flowing.
Eek. That Gwyneth knows how to take it to the next level.
But seriously, guys, GUYS. Take care of your liver!
The main reason I’m writing this post is because Mama(that’s me, I like calling myself that sometimes) was having some stomach issues and long story short I went to a Nutritional Specialist this week and my mind was BLOWN away.
My liver is a little fatty, from eating not so healthy fats in my younger years. How could the specialist asses this in an hour? BY CHECKING MY BLOOD UNDER A MICROSCOPE!!!
It was awesome!
So she was able to see my liver wasn’t quite functioning to it optimal levels because she was seeing particles that represented toxins, fats and carbs! So basically my liver isn’t breaking down food as it should.
So now I’m cleaning it out, taking natural remedies and feeling more fab than usual.
Perhaps you have a similar situation from me?
Well here’s my eating plan that is tailored to restoring my liver and eating healthy.
Disclaimer: This is on an active lifestyle. There are no carbs in this diet and that is just due to my specific situation. BUT I’m not craving them or hungry so maybe you should try it!
Bianca’s Awesome New Nutritional Diet:
Wake Up: Drink 2 16 ounces of water. This is equivalent to 2 arrowhead water bottles. You can also switch it up by having 1 bottled water and some non-caffeinated tea.
Breakfast: Protein shake, make sure it’s full of amino acids, add berries for some fruit
Snack:(2 hours after breakfast) Yogurt, 5 almonds and 2 hard boiled eggs. I do coconut milk yogurt, but Dr. Dianne suggests a greek yogurt. I CAN’T DO MILK!!!!:((((
Lunch: Salad, 1/2 cup of legumes, 4 ounces of protein.
Snack: Protein shake, 5 almonds, and some raw veggies. You can have hummus with your veggies if you skipped the legumes at lunch.
Dinner: Steamed veggies and 4 ounces of protein.
This seems a little constant, but your metabolism gets working and by the time your snack times come around you are Hun.Gry!
Nutrional Babe,
Bianca
