Tons of people are talking about this new “Banana Diet.” The premise of the diet is to eat one banana for breakfast. Then eat whatever you want for lunch, and anything you want for dinner. You can also have an afternoon snack. You can only drink water and it should be at room temperature. Exercise isn’t mandatory, and you shouldn’t do it if you are stress out (WHAT!?) Lastly, you CAN’T eat after 8!
Does anyone else think this diet is a HUGE scam?? If people are getting results from this diet it could be for a couple of reason…
- Most people don’t eat breakfast. Eating Breakfast can jump start your metabolism and help you burn more calories. So, if you aren’t eating breakfast already then it’s time you started!
- Cutting out excess eating after 8 can definately help you to lose weight. This essentialy helps you to cut calories without having to think about it.
Other then these 2 factors, nothing in this diet could help someone to lose weight and keep it off! This is just another gimmick that people will look back on and laugh about.
