Christina Aguilera sheds the pounds and baby weight and looks more stunning then ever! While in Beverly Hills promoting “The Voice,” Aguilera appeared to have lost over *20 pounds. 2010 marked the height of her weight gain with a break up and a baby. She was criticized by Howard Stern for being too fat.
While Christina has always said that she loves her full figure curves, she originally shed 40 pounds after the birth of her son in 2008 and has done it again in 2013!
SO, how did Christina lose the weight so fast??
Aguilera lost the baby weight by doing a combination of cardiovascular exercise, weight-lifting and stretching for 90 minutes, five days a week and following a diet high in protein and vegetables. This sounds familiar ???
Christina Aguilera had this to say about her weight loss. …
“I feel a sense of accomplishment,” Aguilera said after losing her baby weight in 2008. “As you feel your body getting stronger, you become more motivated to be in the gym! It doesn’t matter how big or small you are.
“When you’re defined, I think it’s sexy. I exercise because it makes me feel good. It’s not just a physical thing (source).”
With every weight loss story that you read you should always take a little piece of it with you. Something you learned, something that stay with you. From this I think it’s important to realize that just because you’re a celebrity with gobs of money, access to trainers, chefs and great gyms; it doesn’t mean that you are automatically thin. 90 minutes a day 5 days a week isn’t a light workout routine. The moral of the story is, no matter who you are you still have to work to lose weight.
