What Is A Wun Jo ?
Basically, it’s a bag you fill with water to fling around. The water doesn’t settle in one area of the bag, it flows with the movement of your body as you swing it about. Picture a kettle bell, there isn’t a fluid motion to the bell because the metal ball has no fluid properties. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the kettle bell but I understand how wanter would be a more natural flowing movement.
ABOUT THE WUN-JO
The Wun-Jo™ Trainer, along with the Flo-Dynamics Movement System© is one of the most unique, advanced and effective professional exercise training approaches available today. And – it’s fun! Years of development and work with the Wun-Jo Trainer and its companion Flo-Dynamics Movement System have convinced us and many other professionals in the medical, exercise and sports related fields that what we discovered and cultivated is truly a revolutionary breakthrough in the health and fitness training realm. As you experience the Wun-Jo you will easily begin to understand and appreciate how the device and system resonate with the basic fluid nature of our body and awaken our ability to move in a more natural and more fully integrated manner. Why try to mimic water? Well the answer is obvious and a most fundamental one. The human body is a water machine, designed primarily to run on water and minerals. Every life giving and healing process that happens inside our body… happens with water. In just the last decade, medical science has begun to focus more on the tremendous healing ability our body has and how much that ability depends on water. Our body instinctively knows how and strives to sustain youthful longevity, and in its every effort… water is the key. In the same manner, using the Wun-Jo Trainer is as natural as crawling, walking, running and swimming. It is instinctual and as such very easy to learn and imparts its positive effects to the body practically automatically. Since our bodies are about 75% water, our natural movements depend on the flexibility and strength of our joints and muscles which in turn depend on being hydrated and lubricated with water. Thus, as we are made up of water, it is only natural that we should seek to move like it (Wun Jo Site).

From a trainers perspective, I see the Wun Jo increasing flexibility, posture and core stability. The videos online convey that as well. Since, I am used to challenging people during workouts and increasing muscle endurance and strength, I can visualize a whole routine in my head that could go with this equipment. Tapping into the “muscle factor” of this piece of exercise equipment could open up a whole new chapter for this company.
