I was shocked to see Dr. Oz confront Paula Deen On national TV about her “one vice,” as she stated. America’s cooking queen and sweetheart has had a long time struggle with an addiction that has plagued her for years, smoking.
The show started out like many, Oz on the couch asking Paula random questions then took a shocking emotional turn. It when from light hearted conversation to a plea from Dr Oz. He offered his help to break her addiction and be free of the trap that’s controlled her over the years.
When confronted with her habit by the “King of health,” Paula let America into her head saying
I’m so ashamed and disgusted with myself.
While her food isn’t known for being healthy and her recipes often call for a “stick of butter,” I couldn’t help but feel for her. Everyone has a vice in life, some are worse then others. To have your habits and addictions thrown out on TV isn’t a proud moment.
I have a feeling that this intervention will be well on it way after the new year. Our hearts go out to Paula and we are all rooting for her to when she decides to quit!
The message in this clip is clear, you need to love yourself in order to kick your habits and vices. This goes for overeating, smoking, and other bad habits that put your future in jeopardy. You create your destiny make sure it’s a good one!
