It’s almost summer and everyone is trying to cut their calories. However, sometimes cutting your calories can lead to binging later. If you listen to your body and eat when you are hungry then you are less likely to overeat at night (the worst time to overeat).
Curb your hunger by eating small snacks or meals, so your mind doesn’t fixate on food. Choose foods that are full of fiber (like fruits and veggies) or high in protein (like cheese and yogurt) since those will satisfy your belly and keep you feeling full the longest (credit).
There isn’t any shame in carrying snacks with you when you are away from home. On the contrary, it’s the best thing for people to do when they are trying to avoid bad foods. A simple shopping trip has the potential to ruin your eating plan for the whole day… if you let it. Be prepared and you won’t be sorry. Your waist line will thank you later.
