The fitness industry is always changing. This new App called FitnessClass could be the app that allows you to workout anywhere, any time, and with a wide variety of exercises. Right now it’s offered exclusively for the iPad and is free to download. This exercise aid can be accessed from itunes.
Currently, this new application is packed full of 230 exercise videos. Over time new videos are added to the list as well. You can choose to subscribe to for a monthly fee or pay per workout. However, you can view the workouts for free.
instructors including: Kathy Smith, Cathe Friedrich, Chris Freytag, Ellen Barrett, Ilaria Montagnani, Michael Olajide Jr., Patricia Moreno and Patrick Goudeau. Classes cover a variety of modalities; from bodyweight bootcamp, med ball core, hip-hop dance, yoga and Pilates to kettlebells, dumbbells, Swiss ball and TRX sessions. The 230 classes range from ten minutes to over one hour and cover every fitness goal from weight loss and strength training to abs and sports conditioning. Users can search for workouts based on how much time they have available, by equipment, and more (source).
One of the best features of this new exercise tool is that you can access your itunes library and add songs to the workouts you chose! This customizing feature could be a huge selling point for fitness enthusiasts. I am hoping that this becomes an app for the iphone / itouch in the near future.
