Ellie Goulding has reach stardom over the last 4 years singing songs such as “Fall into the Sky” from Zedd‘s debut album Clarity and on Calvin Harris‘s song “I Need Your Love” which is included on Halcyon and also Harris’s album 18 Months (source). As her star rose her body took on a new form and she immersed leaner, and stronger. You may have seen her recently on the cover of Shape magazine. One of her favorite drinks to flash across the pages of instagram was a Coconut Chocolate Protein shake. While we love her version, we decide to lean it up a bit and pull in the calories. I’ve included both. If you are looking for a filling meal replacement, try Ellie Gouldings protein shake. If you want a snack or after workout shake, use our lower calorie version.
Coconut Chocolate Protein Shake – Ellie Goulding Style
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups coconut water
1/4 avocado
1/2 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon spirulina
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 scoop protein powder
1 tablespoon almond butter
Add all ingredients and blend until smooth.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup coconut water
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/4 avocado

1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 scoop of low carb protein powered (preferably vegan)
1 scoop protein powder – preferably chocolate protein powered
1 cup of Water
Calories: 378 / Carbs: 43 / Fat: 14 / Protein 25
