Swing Sets Aren’t Just For Kids Anymore

     Most people can remember playing on swing sets as kids.  Personally, I even remember that we got ours at “Toys R Us” and my dad put it together himself.  No matter what your memories are of your swing set I bet you never used it like this!  

 

     At the gym and in personal training studios, people pay good money to be tortured in such an affective and ingenious way.  A very expensive piece of equipment called the TRX system actually mimics this swing set workout.  The TRX system runs for $150.00 and up!  Save your money and go play in the backyard with your kids or to your nearest play ground!  If you are interested in this type of workout; then go to their web site (Swing workouts.com) and download their free exercises. 

     These exercises may look simple however, if you factor in the instability of the swing, it adds a whole new dimension to your workout.  These exercise are guaranteed to work your core and get you sweating in no time!

       Guess you will be taking the kids to the play ground instead of the gym babysitter more often!
