The BodyBugg Watch

In past articles, I have written about the bodybugg.  This inventive bugg tracks how many calories you burn.  It also tracks your food through an online system to help you manage your weight and body fat.  Recently, Bodybugg has released it’s new product; a watch that works with the armband to monitor your calorie burning without downloading it to your computer.    The best part about the watch is that you can wear it all day and know how many calories you have already burned … and how much you haven’t.  This lets you know how many calories you can consume so that you are guaranteed to always lose weight … no matter where you are or what you are doing!

The Bodybugg actually tells you how many calories you are burning through 4 sensors located on the back of this small device.  The bugg is worn on the back of your right arm (tricep) and senses steps taken, blood pressure, and temperature.  Since your temperature is directly related to you metabolism it is able to pick up you calories and movement.   It also acts as a pedometer.   For More info on bodybugg …type “bodybugg” in my search engine at the top of the page and it will bring up past articles that I have written.

One of my best clients was nice enough to buy me the watch to go with my armband.  The first day I wore it, I couldn’t stop looking at the watch.  Every couple of minutes I was looking at the watch trying to figure out how many calories I burned with every mundane chore of the day.  I wore the bodybugg over night, and to my surprise I burned 500 calories JUST IN MY SLEEP!  While at work I glance at the display often to figure out where I am at with my calorie burning.  My goal for the day is set in the computer system at 2,000 calories.  However, I usually make it to 2,200.  When I am craving a late snack.. .I glance at my watch and see how many calories I have burn.  If it isn’t as many as I would like, then I don’t eat the snack.  If I think I can afford it, then I chose a light …. non carb snack.

The bodybugg is a great tool.  If you already have it then you know that.  It helps to motivate you during the day to stay on track with your calorie consumption and it keeps you on track with your calorie burning.  If the world had the bodybugg 20 years ago it would be a different place.  There would be a gym on every other street corner.. and healthier eating choices at every restaurant.  I am assuming that in the future, this little device will have made a huge impact on the world and our mental veiw of fitnes and health.

The body bugg watch has made using the device so much more fun and convenient.  If you don’t have the watch to go with the armband … get it now… you won’t be disappointed!!!

Wow that watch is a great idea. Thanks for blogging about it. Now if only they could get all the functionality of the Body Bugg into a watch that would really be awesome.

Yes it does! It shows you how many calories you are burning as well as how many calories you burned the day before and how many steps you have taken. You can also track how many calories you are burning at a specific time. For instance, there is a feature called "trip" .. you reset the trip when you want to track how many calories you are burning during you workout or during a specific time frame. It also tells you how many calories you are burning per minute during that "trip." Remember, the bodybugg arm band synces with the watch. That is how it gets its info so you much have both.
