We LOVE It – The “Stretch Strap”

People avoid stretching for the mere fact that they don’t make time, and they view it as more work!  However, without the right stretching routine you can fall victim to muscle imbalances, poor posture, back problems, knee problems and tons of joint pain.  I have found a way to help clients stretch without the extra work.  However, you will always have to make time!  Here is a fun way to get more flexible and relieve pain.

The stretch strap was originally designed by an occupational therapist.  I find it to be WAY more fun then an average stretching routine.  It can also motivate you to push your flexibility limits.  These are some cool stretches that can be done with the aid of the strap…

(Quad Stretch)

(Hamstring)

(Hamstrings and Calfs)

(Lats And Obliques)

    I ordered the strap and got the booklet of 40 stretches, but which ones should I do on a daily routine???

    Kyle, It's different for everyone. It's based on which areas of your body are tight. In general, you should do the ones for the quad, hamstring, glutes (butt), Lats (back), chest, shoulders, triceps and IT bands. I love that stretch strap and I have my clients do it at the gym!
