I used to start my day with carbs, protein and a splash of color ( like most Americans). Then I was introduced to my moms vitamix while visiting my family in Washington. I was blown away by how much clearer my thoughts were, how much lighter I felt, and how much better my skin looked! Not to mention that the greens helped me detox SO MUCH that I flushed out tons of excess salt and unwanted water. Here are 5 green drink recipes to keep on hand!

1 tablespoon of Chia Seeds (optional)
1/4 of a small avocado (optional)
*Blend these up in you mixer and drink while it’s still cold!!!

Orange Julias Green Drink

1/2 cup of orange juice or half an orange (peeled and seperated)
1/2 cup of rice milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 tsp of vanilla
1/4 avocado (optional)
Sweet Creamy, Green Avocado
Makes 2
1 large banana, frozen
1 large orange peeled and sectioned
1 Avocado, halved pitted and peeled
4 cups of Power Greens
2 cups of cold water
Trainer tip – if you decide to cut down on the avocado then you have to cut down on the water also
People get grossed out by the color of the green drinks until they taste them!! If you’re new to to great benefits then forget all about the color and just take a drink! You’ll notice that the “greens” really have little affect on the taste of the smoothie if done correctly. Print these and put them on your fridge so you can test them out day by day. Come back and let us know how you did!!
