When the holiday weekend comes and goes, you want to know that you did something for YOU and possibly something to remember! So here are some fun things to do over this long weekend to get you recharged for the long week ahead!
Go On A Hike. Find a trail near you that you haven’t traveled on yet. This makes the activity more interesting. Challenge yourself by finding a path that is a little harder then your last one (if you are an avid hiker)
Shop At The Farmer’s Market– Getting healthy, fresh foods in your house its a “must.” With this amount of time on your hands; take advantage and stock up for the week. This will give you less of an excuse to binge on bad foods.
Stock up on your nutritional supplements. This could be anything from your usual protein shake, to that B-complex you’ve been meaning to get.
Redecorate Or Oranize. It’s easier to focus on your fitness routine when you have everything in order. Your personal space can change the way you perceive your life. Make your house a home instead of a nightmare.
Try out a new healthy recipe! If you haven’t made some of the recipes on the site such as the low fat spinach dip…. then here’s your chance!! New recipes make eating healthy fun and interesting.
