The world lost a great one when Joan Rivers passed away. Her comedic role was one everyone could relate to and one that will truly be missed. While Rivers was a great presences on TV and stage, she was also a great role model. The many that knew her always spoke highly of her and her gentle, caring, and loving demeanor off stage. Her sometime “hard to swallow” humor was just a her way of getting people to smile, laugh, and forget about their worries. River’s loved to make fun of fitness but in all reality, she her self was always in tip top shape. Even preforming live on stage at the age of 81, she was full of life, energy, and endurance. The Fashion Police host joked about the best ways to stay fit: “Run to the bakery,” she quipped in an exclusive sit-down interview with E! News.
“I never eat more than six donuts at the time. My dogs look just like me—we all waddle down the street, so awful.”
Any of these idiots that lie to you and say they have done nothing—out here they’ve all done something. Dieting is so difficult. Everything is tough. But [this] is a society – every society wants people to look good. Babies respond to a prettier face.”
“I feel 25 [or] 35,” Rivers tells People Magazine. “I take the stairs. Everything is working. I perform, make people happy, get a check. What could be nicer?” (source).
