Adam Richman’s Weight Loss – Man Vs. Fat

September 24, 2013 by Adria Ali Leave a Comment

Man Verses Food was a huge hit on the Food Network but as people tuned in week by week to watch Adam Richman battle food, his health declined and his weight climbed.   I remember telling my mom that he looked like he was getting sicker as the show went on.   It was as if I was watching a week by week version of “Super Size Me.”   It was clear that this show would not be on the air for a decade, the host may not make it that long!   Now Adam Richman’s show is no longer taping, and he’s moved onto different shows with the same animated hosting skills with less food.   Adam Richman’s weight loss it now news instead of his traveling, heart stopping battles with food.

Adam Richman's Weight Loss

Disclaimer

Notice how in the first picture he looks so much more tired!!!    After losing 60 pounds in 3 months, he not only looks younger, he also looks more vibrant!    The 39 year old star says that he lost the weight by cutting down on white flour and dairy.  He also add in a workout routine.

The crew [on a recent road trip] got a bunch of pizzas, and it was all I could smell,’ he told People. ‘It sucked. But I had a Greek yogurt with raw almonds, water, and an iced coffee, and I was satisfied.’

Richman also insisted he had no regrets about appearing on Man v Food, saying it was ‘the biggest career-defining opportunity.’ ‘I went from anonymity to someone of note with access to amazing eateries,’ he added.

Richman’s new show Fandemonium is broadcast on Sundays on the Travel Channel.

The  moral of the story is, don’t eat enormous amounts of food or you will get sick and overweight very fast.
