Fit Tip – Get Revved Up For Your Workout In Advance

  Most people have to get themselves revved up for their workout. Some use guilt, some use imagery, others use the thought of a significant other, fewer use it for their health.  The moments before a workout can be crucial.  Minutes before your workout can determine if your go in or  if you stay home.

Fit Tip  

  • Add your favorite up beat songs to a “workout play list.”
  • Turn your play list on BEFORE you leave the house.
  • Try to listen to it for roughly 10 mins.  Play it as you’re getting ready.
  • Continue to listen to music in your car and as you walk into the gym.
   This behavior may seem simple but it has the ability to lift your mood.  The beats have a way of waking you up and getting your in the mood for moving.  Use this fit tip to get motivated for your workout and you’ll thank us all year long 😉
