As trainers we are always finding new ways to keep clients focused and motivated. One of the best tricks out there is setting “mini goals” so that you can direct your attention to small goals for HUGE results! Here’s how to do it…
- Analyse your strengths and your weaknesses.
- Tackle your weakest links. From your “weaknesses” list. Pick one to focus on during the week.
- Remind yourself daily OF your weekly goal. Use sticky notes at your desk, hang reminders on your fridge, or in your car. Maybe, even set your phone to go off to remind yourself to …. drink your water, take your vitamin, workout, or pack your “healthy lunch” for the next day.
Rate Your Success. At the end of the week, rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how well you did.
We use this trick all the time with our clients so why shouldn’t you??? Doing weekly goals will help motivate you everyday and keep you focused on your overall goals.
