I started the RKS workout with a little skepticism, how could one kettlebell and DVD’s that were no longer than 30 minutes actually work? My answer: they work wonderfully! I have tried many workout systems, p90x included, I enjoyed this system and saw quick results without the hour long tortures sessions I was used to with p90x. In addition, the workout series takes place over four weeks rather than 90 days. After those 4 weeks you can start over and increase your weight and keep going!
RKS incorporates interval like training with whole body strength exercises to create a workout that produces results without the need for excessive equipment, or large amounts of time. Each video comes with an introductory minute to explain each exercise you will be doing, including total reps and time allotment. The DVD always includes three people doing the same workout at various levels, giving you an example to follow, in case you find the video challenging at your current fitness level. The great thing about the DVDs is that you can tailor them to you by working faster or increasing the weight of your kettlebell.
I found this workout to be very motivating because it was challenging but attainable and I could see results after just two DVDs. I would strongly recommend this workout to males and females, of all fitness levels. It is attainable, short and shows results!
