About 70% of all people work at desk jobs. By the time they get off work, all that sitting has actually made them feel more tired instead of rested. The stress of the day starts to take its toll about mid day and by the end of the 8 hour shift it takes a lot of self control not to go home and lay on the coach. Maybe what we all need is some way to keep the blood pumping so that by the end of the day you feel more energized instead of feeling lethargic.
Once in this position on a ball or at a desk. Roll your weight to your toes, lifting your heals off the ground to preform a calf raise. Using ankle weights while at your desk will give you killer calves for those days when you want to show off your legs.
For those doing this at your desk; all you need to do is hide ankle weights under your pants. Use them to do your exercises at your desk and also on your breaks and when walking around the office. Doing these exercises helps increase your total calorie burning through the day. The best part is when you take off the weights you seem to be light on your feet. Every calorie counts so get burning!
