If you’re like me you’re feeling a little out of sorts today and it’s not just the alcohol consumption, it’s all the FOOD I consumed!
I ate so much food, no guys, soooooooo much! Going to bed full from 4 hours ago is not fun. So this morning I thought, “I’ll make it to pilates.” It didn’t happen. I will work out today, but I need to have a reason to work out, i.e. hot boys at the gym. It’s true when you go to pilates it’s all women, what’s the incentive there?
So until that I go to the gym to work out, which is probably not going to happen. I’m going to work out from my couch. Literally.
Or maybe from my car!
Here’s an exercise you can do from your couch AND your car:
Squeeze and Release: The Isometric Contractions. They involve squeezing or activating your gluteal(butt) muscle, holding the contraction for a few seconds, then release.
This is a 20 second work out. I’m doing it right now as I type.
Here’s a couch only work out:
Strengthen Your Inner Thighs: Place a small pillow between your feet. Try to lift the item off the ground and squeeze your legs together at the same time. You can also place the pillow or other soft object between your knees and squeeze.
That’s a 30 second work out. I like doing 15 reps and a set of 3 of those 15!
My stomach is still bloated from all the mac and cheese I ate so this Ab exercise is a must:
Squeeze your abdominal muscles as though you’re trying to touch your ribs to your stomach, then release and sit up tall.
Do all these 3 little home/car work outs and I promise it’ll do something…or you can do them and go to gym!!!! You’ll thank me later.
