    If you don’t look at food labels or pay attention to what you are eating then it’s very hard to change your body and lose weight.  If you eat out a lot then it can be even more challenging.  Fortunately for us, the Internet provides us with some great sites that cater to calories.  I found this site that allows you to merely input the food and it will tell you the nutrition facts.  This program also calculates your body mass index (BMI), basal metabolic rate, and your recommended daily values.  To lose the right weight you must be educated on the right foods! 

 

Recommended Daily Values Calculator

New Calorie Counter goes beyond the average calorie counting and provides a calculation of the nutrient intake that is suitable to your own unique needs, as determined by the personal profile you provide.

Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculator

This tool allows you to measure your Body Mass Index (BMI) or the measure of your weight relative to your height.

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) Calculator

This NewCalorieCounter’s tool gives you an accurate calculation of the calorie intake that is suitable to you. It takes into account your activity level, your age, your sex, your weight and your height for an accurate calculation. I currently hold a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (exercise science), as well as all of the certifications from National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also have a background in sports training as well as internships in physical therapy and Occupational Therapy.
