Eating healthy and clean can be a pain in the butt! However, in the end, people who eat better tend to have better butts! This is my simple, easy, no cook, low fat, gluten free, dairy free, tuna bowl (say that 5 times fast).
Ingredients for Gluten Free, Dairy Free Tuna Bowl
- 1 can of Trader Joe’s albacore tuna
- Light Veganaise
- Trader Joe’s (pre cooked) brown rice
- Pickels
- Organic Baby Spinach
- Organic Spring Mix
- Avocado
Instructions for Gluten Free, Dairy Free Tuna Bowl
Open and drain the tuna. Add 1 – 2 tablespoons of light vegan]naise mayo. Chop up 1 pickle and add it to the tuna.
Next put one bag of precooked Trader Joe’s brown rice in the microwave for 3 minutes. Cook and let cool for 5 -10 minutes
Put mixed greens and spinach on the bottom of the bowl Then add 1/2 cup of cooked brown rice. Add your tuna mixture and then top it off with just a couple slices of avocado.
This Bowl ends up being less then 400 calories! It a great, easy, and balanced meal that’s great for lunch or even dinner. If you have your own easy recipes, share them on the site! We love to get feedback!
