The holiday season is dark, cold, and full of unhealthy food. The majority of people (especially females) lack the amount of protein in their diet that would balance out their blood sugar to help control cravings. So, during a season full of bad foods and unnecessary sugars; the best way to control your weight is by stocking up on the proteins. Since you don’t want to bog down your system with tons of meats, you should try supplementing with a protein shake.
Apple Cinnamon Pie Shake
1 Serving of Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 cup of Apple Cinnamon – Apple Sauce
8 oz of milk/ rice milk/ or almond milk
4 oz of water (or whatever amount tastes best)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
Orange Creamsicle Shake
1 serving of vanilla protein powder
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of milk / rice milk/ or almond milk
*Desired amount of water if necessary
Pina Colada Escape
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup of milk / rice milk/ almond milk
1 6oz light pina colada yogurt
1 serving of vanilla protein powder (optional)
Strawberry Yogurt Shake
1 serving of vanilla protein powder
1/2 – 6 oz strawberry yogurt (light)
1/2 cup of milk (of your choice)
* water – desired amount
